Progressive Suspension from Looney Seats

 Available
for the next two weeks until Friday the 7th of July 2006 is an

suspension up front making it dip a little more than some riders may like,

to Don Gray Customs.? Why the name change?? Don got sick of

Marty's Road Star Jockey Shifters
|
|
 Check it out, something really old school for your Road Star! Marty wanted a Jockey Shifter for his Roadie and set about looking for a kit but didn't have luck finding one ready made for his bike. So like many people he decided he would have a go at fabricating one himself and was pretty pleased with the outcome. It was soon after he showed his Jockey Shifter to friends and forums that requests started coming in asking if he could do one for other people as well. The rest, as they say, is history. Marty's kits come with the shifter and a modified shift linkage for your foot control to operate the clutch. You can even get a genuine Hurst shifter rod if you desire! No exchange parts are required and you can reverse the modification without too much effort. As you will see on Marty's site he has done a number of different styles for his customers who are all very happy with the outcome. great folk over at
Raked Cycles have a new product for the Road Star that could be
one of the finishing touches you are looking for. Custom rectifier
covers will cover that ugly black number at the front of your frame and with
the current choice of flamed, skull, Maltese and spade patterns (with more
likely to come) there should be something just right for you.
Coming with stainless steel hex bolts for mounting the price is $68 chromed or $43 unchromed with $3 shipping to anywhere in the

Steve Moore's ''Starpegs''
|

 Regular
readers of RoadStarMagazine.com will know I particularly love the simple
but brilliant ideas people come up with to improve our rides. Steve
Moore is one of those people and his new enterprise is a
fantastic little product he calls Starpegs. Basically these little
numbers include a chromed peg, with a rubber inlay for comfort, mounted on an
aircraft grade machined aluminum bracket that bolts to the front of your
floorboard (they also fold up like your floorboards). The purpose of the Starpegs is to allow you to shift
your foot around the floorboard on those longer rides to help relieve
stiffening muscles and with three new positions made possible by the Starpegs you will last longer in the saddle. If you enjoy riding your Road Star for further than a
trip to the corner store (and who doesn't) then I am sure you will enjoy the
extra comfort of the Starpegs which can be found at the
